Round one — rejected.

Open the new Motra-inspired prototypes

Three proposals from Codex and three developed independently by Claude. Each rethinks the whole iPhone app, with workout logging as the main test. Open a screen to see it at full size, and expand a proposal for its navigation and tradeoff.

These are generated visual concepts with synthetic training data. They are not functional app screenshots, and no production direction has been selected.

What we’re replacing

Today and Train overlap, routine taps have different meanings, and the live set expands inside a scrolling exercise ledger. The new directions explore clearer destinations and a more stable repeated logging loop.

The current home screen shown here was captured from a fresh Xcode 27 build on an iPhone 18 Pro simulator running iOS 27 with the sample database. The current workout screen could not be captured; its analysis comes from source and regression tests.

Every direction must preserve offline operation, exact results, history, progression, supersets, persistent sessions and rest, machine setup, import/export, recovery and optional Apple Health.
